Christchurch, Bwlchgwyn
Christchurch has been part of village life in Bwlchgwyn for well over a century. Located just off the main road on Brymbo Road, the church continues to serve the village as a place of worship and as part of the wider community.
The church has particularly strong links with Bwlchgwyn Community Primary School, located opposite, with the school taking part in services and community occasions including the popular Christmas Carol Service.
Services
Christchurch shares Eucharistic services with St Mary's, Minera. The first Sunday of the month is normally held at Christchurch, with the third Sunday at St Mary's. Worship Leaders conduct services on the other Sundays.

Christchurch is just off the main road through Bwlchgwyn.
There is no on-site parking and the church currently has no toilet facilities. Disabled access can be provided using a temporary ramp.

You don't need to be a regular churchgoer to come along to a Sunday service or one of the church's community events.
Part of village life
Christchurch continues to play an active role in Bwlchgwyn's community life.
The church has longstanding links with the village school and helps support a number of important occasions throughout the year. These include the Community Carol Service, Christmas Eve Crib Service and the village's Remembrance Sunday service at the cenotaph.
One particularly Bwlchgwyn tradition is the early-morning outdoor Ascension Day service at the Viewing Point, making use of the village's spectacular upland setting.
The church also holds events and activities throughout the year.
